Bergmann’s On Lombard is a catering company located on the 6th floor of the historic Grain Exchange Building. We specialize in food catering and event planning.

Our staff will work with you every step of the way to ensure you have your ideal event. From weddings, reunions, anniversaries, to corporate gatherings, your event is important to us.

David Bergmann

Upon Completion of the Chef’s Apprenticeship Program at Red River Community College, David Bergmann worked for six years with Tim Appleton, Chef Member of the Canadian Culinary National Team. Starting out as an apprentice and working his way up to Sous Chef, David developed a globally influenced style, with a focus on Canadian ingredients. “At a young age I developed a real love and passion for food and cooking. It is a privelege to be able to work in an environment with dedicated staff who feel the same way I do.” stated David.

David participated in many Culinary Competitions and further pushed his limits, leading him to eventually start his own catering company. “Preparing and doing well at a competition is great and very rewarding, but after starting my own business I soon realized that striving to do the best for our clientele is my everyday competition, and that is extremely rewarding. ”

Today, Bergmann’s on Lombard caters more than 350 events per year, both at their downtown location in the historic Grain Exchange Building, and at offsite locations around Winnipeg; providing excellence in food and service for wedding, corporate and private dining occasions.
