We would like to thank our very own Sous Chef Melissa Hryb for organize this year's Culinary Iron Chef held this past weekend at the Winnipeg Convention Center. The event has proven a great success and we thank her for all her hard work. The Iron Chef Competition is a Black Box Competition where competitors must create as many food courses as they wish in the 1 hour alloted time utilizing set products while incorporating & showcasing their knowledge of the industry.

We would additionally like to welcome our two new Culinary Art Students Brian Ursell and Erika de la Fuente from the Red River College Culinary Arts program. They will be working over the summer alongside Chef David Bergmann in hopes to increase their knowledge of the industry.
